Actually, this is my second album. The first one was recorded in 1976. The studio left town and took my tapes with them. All I had was a cassette of rough mixes from that project. I may release it on BandCamp... I don't know. Anyway... in the beginning, this was going to be a joint project with my brother, Mike. To make a long story short, things didn't work out at his end on the east coast... but I'm happy to say that some of his songs that were included as CD Bonus Tracks are available here. I guess I'd have to say that the majority of the songs on this album are modern psalms... like, "GOD HELP!" I like a variety of music and that's what you get here. These songs were written 1969-1990 and recorded 1987-1991 at Star City Studios (both in Lansing & East Lansing, Michigan). You'll notice several musicians helped me out with this project... I get by with a little help from my friends! This album would have sounded a whole lot different without their help. I really appreciate their input! If you own the original CD, you're going to notice some differences on a few of the songs. I made some adjustments and improvements here and there. I know that everybody listening to Toys From Hell aren't going to like everything... some may be offended by the lyrics... some may just not like the music styles... and that's OK... I know that I don't like everything that's been put out by others. If you purchase the whole album... you also get PDFs of the cover art you can print out and put in a CD jewel case AND several PDFs of ads and flyers that promoted the album way back then. AND... BONUS TRACKS!!! Also... there's info about some of the songs listed when you move your curser to the right of the titles.
